Several projects on economic and trade cooperation between China and ASEAN countries were released.

  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – The China-Indonesia "Two Countries, Two Parks" Science and Technology Innovation Center was inaugurated in Fuzhou on the 18th. The center was jointly established by Fuyao University of Science and Technology, the Indonesian Salim Group, and the Yuanhong Functional Zone Management Committee of Fuzhou New Area.

  According to Wang Xingang, Director of the Yuanhong Functional Zone Management Committee, the center will focus on the integration of industry, academia, research, and application, empowering the development of the China-Indonesia "Two Countries, Two Parks" initiative and supporting industrial growth. It aims to solve more research problems and generate more cooperative projects on this platform.

  As part of the 2025 China-ASEAN Week series of activities, the 2025 China-ASEAN Economic and Trade Cooperation New Opportunities Matchmaking Conference was held in Fuzhou on the same day. The event focused on economic and trade cooperation between China and ASEAN countries, deepening precise matching between the two sides, exploring cooperation potential in emerging fields, promoting deep coupling of industrial and supply chains, and helping China and ASEAN achieve mutually beneficial economic and trade cooperation.

  Including the China-Indonesia "Two Countries, Two Parks" Science and Technology Innovation Center, several achievements of China-ASEAN economic and trade cooperation projects were released at the conference. The Fuzhou Silk Road ASEAN Economic and Cultural Exchange Center, jointly initiated by the Fuzhou Municipal Government, the China-ASEAN Center, and the China-ASEAN Industrial Cooperation and Development Promotion Association, was unveiled at the conference.

  Meanwhile, 15 outstanding cases of economic and trade cooperation between Fujian Province and ASEAN countries were released at the conference, covering fields such as textiles, energy, food, light industry, cross-border trade, and industrial park cooperation. These included the Guangyang Egg Industry Southeast Asia Egg Trade Project, the Laos Weishi Energy and Mineral Resources Development Project, and the Indonesia Xiangjiang Leather Project.

  Yu Jie, Chairman of Fujian Guangyang Egg Industry Co., Ltd., stated that Guangyang Egg Industry has established a cooperative relationship with Quanli Group, Malaysia's largest egg-laying hen farm, to promote digital poultry farming technology. He hopes to leverage new technologies to conduct in-depth cooperation across the entire poultry and egg industry chain with ASEAN countries. (End)
