
Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On November 3, 2025, Cambodian Minister of Commerce Chan Neemo held a productive working meeting with Mr. Gülser Balan, President of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce, in Ankara, the capital of Turkey. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on further increasing bilateral trade between Cambodia and Turkey and jointly promoting the achievement of the future trade target of US$1 billion.
Minister Chan Neemo's visit to the Ankara Chamber of Commerce marked the first visit by a senior Cambodian leader and was of great significance. President Balan warmly welcomed the visit and highly praised it as an important opportunity to expand bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
At the meeting, Minister Chan Neemo clearly pointed out to the Turkish side that medical equipment, tourism, health, textiles and garments, and construction are the four priority areas for future economic cooperation between the two countries. She warmly invited Turkish businesspeople and investors to actively explore business opportunities in Cambodia and establish long-term and stable business partnerships.
President Balan of the Ankara Chamber of Commerce responded positively to the Cambodian side's proposal. He solemnly pledged that the Ankara Chamber of Commerce plans to organize a Turkish business delegation to visit Cambodia in early 2026, and will be responsible for arranging precise matchmaking and negotiations between Turkish companies and relevant Cambodian parties to effectively promote bilateral trade cooperation projects.
Founded in 1923, the Ankara Chamber of Commerce is one of Turkey's oldest and most influential chambers of commerce, with over 170,000 member companies, and is a vital force driving economic and trade development in Ankara and Turkey as a whole.
