Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – The 13th Jiangsu International Elderly Care Service Expo (hereinafter referred to as the "Elderly Care Expo") was held in Nanjing from the 29th to the 31st. This year's expo attracted nearly 500 companies from home and abroad, setting up eight exhibition areas to showcase innovative achievements in smart elderly care, rehabilitation aids, and other fields.

The expo, themed "Suzhou-Style Elderly Care, Revitalizing Aging," covered an exhibition area of 30,000 square meters and featured eight exhibition areas including elderly care services, smart elderly care solutions, and rehabilitation aids. Exhibitors came from countries and regions such as Germany and Japan, including elderly care institutions like Yincheng Kangyang and Taikang Home, as well as technology companies such as Huawei HarmonyOS Smart Home and Xiao Ai Robotics.

At the expo, smart elderly care products attracted significant attention. Many companies showcased innovative products such as intelligent nursing equipment and remote monitoring systems, demonstrating the deep integration of technology and elderly care services. Among them, intelligent rehabilitation training equipment and elderly care service robots attracted numerous visitors.

Fifteen supporting events will be held during the exhibition, including the 3rd Silver Economy Entrepreneurs Conference, the "Smart" Elderly Care Industry Summit and other professional forums, as well as the 2025 Jiangsu Provincial Elderly Care Vocational Skills Competition. These activities will promote connections between upstream and downstream sectors of the industry chain and share cutting-edge concepts and practical experiences.

This year's "Elderly Expo" marks the first time that an exhibition and competition have been combined, with an elderly care worker skills competition held on-site. It also deepens regional cooperation, attracting nearly 100 companies from South China to participate. Furthermore, it innovatively introduces a "sales-exhibition integration" model, allowing new elderly care products to directly serve the elderly population.

Statistical data shows that Jiangsu has entered a moderately aging society. As of the end of 2024, the province's permanent resident elderly population aged 60 and above reached 21.75 million, accounting for 25.5% of the total population. The continued growth in demand for elderly care services is driving the rapid development of the silver economy. (End)
