  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – According to news from Matsumoto Province and KPL reports, on February 9, 2026, candidates for the Second Committee of the 18th Constituency of the 10th National Assembly of Xaysomben Province continued their campaign outreach in Hom District, Laos, introducing themselves to eligible voters.

  The campaign was led by Phoikham Hoongbounyuang, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Secretary of the Xaysomben Provincial Committee, and candidate number 2, with five other candidates (including one woman) participating. During the event, the candidate team briefly introduced their resumes and past achievements, and made a solemn promise: if supported by voters, they will dedicate their energy, wisdom, and knowledge to serving the country and the people, building a bridge between the central and local governments, and working together to build a better Xaysomben Province. At the same time, the candidates called on voters in Hom District to fully exercise their democratic rights and elect parliamentary representatives who are knowledgeable, capable, possess revolutionary ethics, and truly represent the rights of the people.

  The election committee simultaneously released the names and brief biographies of the candidates for the National Assembly in the 18th constituency of Xaisomboun province to voters. Led by Mongselao Mosong, a member of the Lao Central Committee, Vice President of the Lao Front for National Construction, and candidate number 1, the committee was the first to conduct campaign presentations and candidate introductions in Bantesban village, Hom district. The team included five female candidates and one male candidate.

  This series of campaign promotion activities aimed to allow voters to fully understand the candidates' overall qualities, carefully select qualified parliamentary representatives, and contribute to local development and progress.
