Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On June 17th, a delegation from Vietnam, led by Ambassador Vu Le Thai Hoang and Nguyen Do Tung Gang, Executive Vice President of the Vietnam-Austria Friendship Association, visited Upper Austria and held working talks with the management of Rosenbauer Group, a leading global company in fire rescue and emergency equipment.

Robert Ottel, Chairman of Rosenbauer Group, and Herbert Bollinger, Vice President for Asia Pacific, warmly received the Vietnamese delegation. As the world's largest manufacturer of fire rescue and emergency response vehicles, equipment, and technical solutions, Rosenbauer has a 160-year history and operates in over 100 countries worldwide, serving as a core partner of professional rescue organizations in various countries.

During the talks, the group's representatives recalled that since 1988, the company has engaged in in-depth cooperation with Vietnam, assisting Vietnam in modernizing its fire rescue equipment through various means such as providing professional equipment, transferring technology, and conducting capacity building, significantly improving the local capacity to respond to fires, explosions, natural disasters, and various emergencies. The cooperative achievements have become a benchmark example of cooperation between Vietnam and Austria in the fields of public safety and non-traditional security.

Both sides fully affirmed the existing cooperative results at the meeting and conducted in-depth exchanges on future cooperation directions, with a core focus on further strengthening Vietnam's comprehensive capabilities in areas such as fire rescue, disaster response, and emergency response. The Austrian side clearly stated its willingness to continue expanding existing cooperative projects, while actively exploring and promoting the next phase of Official Development Assistance (ODA) projects in this field to better meet the higher needs of both sides in public safety and emergency response capacity building.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Austria and the Vietnam-Austria Friendship Association stated that they will continue to maintain close coordination with their Austrian partners, fully leverage the bridging role of people-to-people diplomacy, and promote the traditional friendly relations and pragmatic cooperation in various fields between the two countries to develop in a more efficient and sustainable direction.
