Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) reviewed and adopted a series of strategic decisions, with the efficient transformation of the resolutions' outcomes as a core requirement. CPV General Secretary To Lam emphasized that the entire Party must act with "ten times the determination and a hundred times the speed" to ensure the effective implementation of the Congress's directives. This Congress was positioned as a "Congress of Action, a Congress of Thorough Implementation."

For the first time, this Congress simultaneously adopted resolutions and issued an action plan for 2026-2030, clarifying key elements such as strategic tasks, division of responsibilities, and resource guarantees. It established the implementation requirements of "accurate selection – rapid advancement – thorough implementation – measurement by results," becoming an important guideline for the work of all levels of departments. On the closing day of the Congress, To Lam, on behalf of the Politburo, signed and issued instructions on implementing the Congress's resolutions, demanding immediate action, integrating traditional and technological means, and building consensus in thought and action throughout the Party, the military, and the people.

The conference emphasized the fundamental shift from "talking" to "doing," taking "saying what you mean and doing what you say" as its guiding principle. It resolutely opposed formalism and bureaucracy, demanding tangible results to consolidate and enhance public trust in the Party. Recent achievements vividly demonstrate this overall approach.

On January 31, the Dien Bien Province's 18 Binh Primary and Secondary School, a boarding school for ethnic minorities, officially opened. This is the first completed school in Vietnam to implement the Politburo's decision to advance the construction of schools in border communes. In July 2025, the Politburo deployed the construction of 248 boarding schools in 248 land border communes. Construction has already begun on the first 100 schools. At the inauguration ceremony, To Lam called for the construction of the remaining 148 schools, ensuring all are completed by August 30, 2026.

The achievements of the "Quang Trung Campaign" are equally impressive. The operation, launched in Dak Lak province in January 2025, originally aimed to repair 34,759 damaged homes and rebuild 1,597 collapsed homes. It was completed ahead of schedule in just 35 days. The previous nationwide campaign to eliminate temporary and dilapidated housing also achieved significant results. From April 2024 to August 2025, over a period of one year and four months, 334,234 temporary and dilapidated homes nationwide were converted to "three-hard" safe housing (referring to basic infrastructure, safety, and occupancy) standards, raising a total of VND 2.4761 trillion and involving over 450,000 people.

To Lam stated that the resolutions of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam serve as a guide and guiding light for the entire Party and political system. Combined with the practical achievements already made, and driven by "the highest political determination, the greatest effort, and the most resolute action," it will surely lead the Vietnamese nation to new victories and successes.
