According to the official measurement by the Guangdong Earthquake Networks Center, a 4.0-magnitude earthquake occurred at 14:28 on the 20th in Yangbianhai, Yangxi County, Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province (21.74 degrees north latitude, 111.79 degrees east longitude), with a focal depth of 11 kilometers. The epicenter was 16 kilometers from the urban area of Yangxi County, 25 kilometers from the urban area of Yangjiang City, and 217 kilometers from Guangzhou City.
