Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – The People's Government of Xiangshui County, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, reported on the 3rd that at 17:46 on the 2nd, a tie-arch beam collapsed during construction of the Yuegang Bridge on the Lianshen Railway Line, which was being built by China Railway 12th Bureau Group.
Currently, the accident has resulted in two people being seriously injured and dying after being rushed to the hospital, and three people remaining missing.
Following the accident, the city and county governments immediately organized emergency rescue and on-site handling. On-site rescue, accident investigation, and follow-up work are underway.
