Reporters learned from the Xishuangbanna Prefecture Government Information Office on the 18th that there are currently no reports of casualties or property damage in the prefecture.
The epicenter was 12 kilometers from Jinghong City and 378 kilometers from Kunming City. Following the earthquake, the Xishuangbanna Prefecture Earthquake Relief Headquarters immediately formed a working group to rush to the epicenter to carry out emergency response work. Jinghong City quickly coordinated resources to conduct disaster assessment and secondary disaster prevention and mitigation.
