Du Thi Quynh Thanh, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Municipal Department of Industry and Trade, stated that the purpose of these exhibition spaces is to bring "One Commune One Product" (OCOP) products, typical rural industrial products, and local specialties closer to consumers, especially domestic and international tourists; at the same time, to expand the sales market, enhance brand value, and promote the city's image.
The exhibition space in the international terminal, covering 88 square meters, is located within the international restricted area, in the main passageway before passenger boarding. This space aims to promote local specialties, OCOP products, typical products, and herbal products.
Du Trong Hau, Deputy General Manager of AHT, stated that supporting the venue and cooperating in the deployment of the exhibition area will help bring local specialty products closer to travelers, while also promoting the culture and image of Da Nang and the central region.
The two exhibition spaces showcased nearly 100 products from local businesses, cooperatives, and production units. The selected products met standards for quality, origin, traceability, food safety, bilingual packaging, and stable supply capacity. These included local specialties, three-star and above "One Commune, One Product" products, typical rural industrial products, food, beverages, handicrafts, medicinal herbs, natural cosmetics, souvenirs, and fashion.
The Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade stated that these exhibition spaces are not only for product promotion and sales but also aim to become spaces for cultural, commercial, and tourism experiences. Going forward, the Department will continue to collaborate with relevant units to add new products, vigorously promote the application of digital transformation in promotion and sales, and gradually develop the Da Nang specialty product exhibition space system into a highlight of the city's trade promotion and tourism development.
