The event, jointly hosted by the Shanxi Provincial Public Brand Building Federation and Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group Co., Ltd., was themed "Quality Manufacturing Leads, Brands Go Hand in Hand." Representatives from 56 certified "Shanxi Fine Products" enterprises across the province jointly launched and signed the "Brand-Driven Enterprise Development" initiative.
It was reported that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Shanxi has cultivated and recognized 200 "Shanxi Fine Products," of which 123 are in the manufacturing industry, accounting for 61.5%, becoming an important force in Shanxi's industrial transformation and upgrading and the improvement of the quality and efficiency of the real economy. Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group, as a leading enterprise in the province's high-end equipment manufacturing chain, has products that radiate throughout the country and are exported overseas, serving as a model for the high-quality development of Shanxi's advanced manufacturing industry.
During the event, attendees visited the Taiyuan Heavy Machinery Group's brand achievements and core product exhibition area. Experts in the field of brand building gave special lectures on brand strategy, fine product cultivation, value enhancement, and market-oriented operation.
Guo Xin'an, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Shanxi Provincial Market Supervision Bureau, stated that Shanxi has a relatively small number of companies listed in the Fortune Global 500, few well-known domestic brands, and various regional brands have not yet formed a cohesive force. Going forward, government departments should proactively learn from advanced experiences, coordinate resources, and consolidate efforts for brand development; enterprises should build brand confidence, cultivate their core businesses, and diligently tell their brand stories.
Wu Huiyun, a second-level inspector of the Shanxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission, emphasized that all enterprises must strengthen corporate credit management, integrating it into the entire brand building process, striving to maintain the credibility and reputation of "Shanxi Fine Products," and continuously improving the quality standards and positive image of "Shanxi Fine Products."
During the enterprise experience exchange session, representatives from companies such as Chalco Shanxi New Materials Co., Ltd., Datong Bashika Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Shanxi Fushenggong Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., and Taiyuan Ninghuafu Yiyuanqing Vinegar Industry Co., Ltd. shared practical experiences in quality control, technological innovation, and brand cultivation, conveying brand concepts and exploring development paths together.
“We deeply understand that the ‘Shanxi Fine Products’ brand is built on the collective efforts of the certified companies. A quality defect in one company damages the reputation of the entire province’s brands,” said a representative from Chalco Shanxi New Materials. “The four characters ‘Shanxi Fine Products’ represent a promise to consumers and a benchmark for high-quality enterprise development. Certification is not the end, but the starting point for continuous self-improvement.”
During the event, representatives from 56 companies jointly launched the “Brand-Driven Enterprise Development” initiative, focusing on six key dimensions to build industry consensus. The initiative emphasizes: upholding quality standards to solidify brand foundations; adhering to innovation-driven development to activate brand momentum; establishing a credit system to build a trustworthy image; cultivating cultural heritage to tell the stories of Shanxi enterprises; practicing green and low-carbon practices to demonstrate responsibility; and strengthening collaboration to build a robust brand ecosystem.
Participating company representatives believe that the launch of the “Brand-Driven Enterprise Development” initiative effectively consolidated consensus on the “Shanxi Fine Products” brand building, injecting new vitality into the development of local brands.
