Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On January 18th, the Shaanxi Provincial Overseas Returned Scholars Association's Arts Committee held its inaugural meeting. Rotating Vice President Yuan Jinglian, Vice President Li Hewei, and Secretary-General Wu Lin attended the meeting. More than 30 members of the Arts Committee, representing fields such as music, fine arts, dance, drama, film and television, and design, participated.
At the meeting, Wu Lin read out the "Resolution on the Establishment of the Second Council Arts Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial Overseas Returned Scholars Association," and Yuan Jinglian and Li Hewei presented appointment letters to all members of the Arts Committee. The meeting heard and approved the "Management Measures of the Arts Committee," further clarifying the organizational structure, responsibilities, and operational mechanisms.
Yuan Jinglian pointed out that the establishment of the Arts Committee is a concrete measure for the Shaanxi Provincial Overseas Returned Scholars Association to expand its work scope and strengthen its organizational structure. He hoped that the Arts Committee would focus on building a culturally strong province, deeply explore the province's unique cultural resources, explore new paths for the exchange and integration of Chinese and Western cultures, and create high-quality artistic works by overseas returnees with Shaanxi characteristics and national influence. We must unite and rally the strength of the vast number of art students studying abroad, promote the coordinated development of artistic creation and social service, and contribute our wisdom and strength to the high-quality development of cultural undertakings in our province.
