
Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) reports that a total of 63 domestic and international films, including record-breaking films such as "Plum" directed by Ting Cheng, "Falling Face 7" directed by Li Hai, and "Peaches, Pho, Piano" directed by Fei Jinshan, will be screened at the 2024 Danang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF II) from July 2nd to 6th.
This year's festival will select and honor outstanding films that are rich in humanistic spirit, innovative, and unique in artistic expression; it will also encourage film talent and introduce outstanding films from Vietnam, the Asia-Pacific region, and the world to the public.
In particular, the organizing committee has negotiated copyrights for several foreign films and television programs, paying substantial royalties to secure free screenings, giving film lovers the opportunity to enjoy the latest global cinema.
The festival will also feature a series of films directed by renowned Vietnamese director Dang Nhat Minh, including "When October Comes," "Missing the Countryside," "The Girl on the River," "Don't Burn," and "Jasmine Flower." (End)
