Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) Since the end of 2025, several heritage sites in Hanoi have been actively innovating their tourism products, integrating technology and innovative formats to enhance the visitor experience. This not only injects new vitality into the heritage sites but also provides significant impetus for the development of the capital's cultural tourism industry in 2026.

On January 1, 2026, the Temple of Literature-Imperial College Cultural and Scientific Activities Center launched the nighttime tour route "Vietnam's Sounds." Within the brightly lit heritage area, visitors can stroll through core areas such as the Khue Van Pavilion and Thien Quang Well, visit introductions to handicraft villages, calligraphy and other cultural spaces, and conclude with a traditional music experience. Center Director Le Xuan Kieu stated that this project is consistent with the 3D projection nighttime tour project launched in 2023 and upgraded in 2024, both promoting traditional values in a modern way. In addition, the Hu Wen area within the heritage site has been renovated into a creative space, attracting Hanoi's creative community and tourists from home and abroad.

This series of innovations aligns with the spirit of the Hanoi Municipal Party Committee's 2022 resolution—to protect and promote traditional cultural heritage through the application of technology and innovation. The Thang Long Imperial City Heritage Site has recently launched several innovative products, including the "Flag Tower Memories" tour, which integrates heritage visits, exhibitions, and art performances, and the "Imperial Capital Thang Long" live performance, which utilizes 3D projection and digital experience spaces to significantly enhance visitor interaction and experience.

Tourism businesses are also actively participating in product updates. Starting December 19, 2025, the Hanoi Department of Tourism, in conjunction with VIETNAM STID and TNGo, will launch a bicycle tour, utilizing TNGo public bicycles and an integrated GPS-guided audio app to provide visitors with a brand-new experience.

Dang Huong Giang, Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, pointed out that the new tourism products not only innovate the form of experience but also demonstrate a flexible ability to adapt to modern trends through innovative technological applications. (End)
