Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – The Cambodian Ministry of Tourism announced on the 3rd that the Royal Government has approved a pilot visa-free policy for Chinese citizens departing from China.

The announcement stated that, based on the application from the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism and the Royal Government-Private Sector Forum Tourism Working Group (Group B), and with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the consent of Prime Minister Hun Manet, the Royal Government of Cambodia has approved a pilot visa-free policy for Chinese citizens departing from China from June 15th to October 15th, 2026.

During the pilot policy's validity period, Chinese tourists can travel to and from Cambodia multiple times.

Based on the above arrangements, the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism calls on the public, tourism associations, private travel agencies, journalists, domestic and international tourists, and all relevant parties to attach great importance to and actively cooperate with this policy, while also widely promoting it through various means to jointly encourage Chinese citizens and investors to visit and exchange ideas with Cambodia.
