The report stated that tourism experts indicated low demand for direct flights between Vientiane and Phnom Penh, leading to the company's decision to cancel the flights. The 15th of this month was the last scheduled flight for the Vientiane-Phnom Penh direct route.
It is understood that Lao Airlines officially launched its direct flights between Vientiane and Phnom Penh on March 19th.
