Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – The Department of Population Census Management and Infrastructure Construction of the Ministry of Public Security will launch the issuance of digital ID cards nationwide starting December 17, 2025.
Service points for digital ID card processing include: central-level population census management and infrastructure construction departments, the Capital Police Headquarters, provincial police headquarters, and the municipal and district police headquarters where the individual's population census registration is located.
The following identity documents are required for processing: birth certificate, old-style ID card (green card), and a photocopy of the passport if applicable. Appropriate attire is recommended, preferably a collared shirt (avoid white shirts as they may affect the quality of the ID photo).
