
Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On the afternoon of November 10th, a delegation led by Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Duc, Director of the Propaganda and Training Department of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army, held talks in Vientiane, the capital, with a delegation led by Major General Keosouvanh Phangphilavong, Director of the Propaganda and Training Department of the General Political Department of the Lao People's Army.
During the talks, both sides briefed each other on recent developments and highly praised the close coordination and effective implementation of the annual cooperation plan between the two units. Both sides have closely coordinated and effectively implemented the bilateral defense cooperation plan, particularly the Vietnam-Laos Defense Cooperation Agreement and Protocol for the 2025-2029 period, focusing on promoting propaganda work, external information exchange, friendly exchanges, and key defense cooperation activities.

Both sides effectively carried out propaganda work on the traditional friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two parties, countries, and armed forces, and promptly reported on the activities of the leaders of the two countries' defense ministries and general political departments.
Regarding future cooperation, based on sincere and frank exchanges and experience sharing, both sides agreed to continue to promote in-depth and pragmatic publicity and training work, contributing to consolidating and promoting the consistent, pure, and special friendship between the two countries' publicity and training bureaus and even the two countries themselves.
Both sides agreed to continue strengthening exchanges and sharing experiences in areas such as publicity and mobilization, rapporteur work, social sciences and humanities, competitions and awards, news media, culture and arts, publishing, printing, and film distribution management. (End)
