  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – On the morning of August 15th, Vietnamese National Assembly Vice Chairman Nguyen Khac Dinh met in Hanoi with a delegation from the Steering Committee for the compilation of the book "50 Years of Relations between the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the National Assembly of the Lao People's Democratic Republic – Comprehensive Cooperation and Development," led by Sanya Praseuth, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Lao National Assembly.

  Nguyen Khac Dinh stated that this visit, coinciding with Vietnam's grand celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2025), fully demonstrates the sincerity and commitment of the Lao and Vietnamese National Assembly in working together to complete this work of significant political and diplomatic importance, and is of great significance for further deepening the special and traditional friendship between the two countries.

  Nguyen Khac Dinh highly praised the close and scientific cooperation between the two sides, noting that it attracted numerous representatives, experts, and scholars, and supported the manuscript writing through numerous symposiums and academic seminars. He also commended the meticulous editing work, ensuring a balance between political and diplomatic aspects. He emphasized that this book will be a valuable resource showcasing the excellent relations between the two parliaments and will play a positive role in helping young people of both countries understand and inherit this friendly relationship.

  Director Saniya Prasetth stated that the Lao National Assembly highly values ​​the compilation and publication of this book, considering it an important document for promoting and enhancing the understanding of the "eternal and enduring relationship between Vietnam and Laos" among the people of both countries.

  Saniya Prasetth explained that during the compilation process, the working groups from both countries maintained close cooperation, continuously optimizing the manuscript content and simultaneously advancing translation and proofreading; they jointly researched and supplemented relevant materials to ensure the systematic and authoritative nature of the content. He emphasized that the entire compilation process, from the initial draft to the final version, adhered to the principle of mutual agreement.

  "The compilation of this book is the culmination of the precious friendship and cooperation between the Lao National Assembly and the Vietnamese National Assembly," said Sanya Paceou, adding that he hoped both sides would continue their close and efficient cooperation to expedite the final stages of writing and publication, ensuring timely and high-quality completion.
