Approximately 500 people, including Thongchan Maniseh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Governor of Bokeo Province; Saychai Kongmasey, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Governor; key leaders from the Provincial Government Office, Planning and Investment Department, Public Security Department, and Foreign Affairs Department; Zhao Wei, Chairman of the Management Committee of the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone; Bounthong Chheongsikorn, Director of the Management Office of the Bokeo Special Economic Zone; representatives of Chinese-funded enterprises; people from all walks of life; and teachers and students of Kapok School, participated in the celebration despite the rain.

Thongchan Manise, Secretary of the Party Committee and Governor of Bokeo Province, the official representative of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, also delivered a warm speech, extending his congratulations on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. He highly praised the fruitful results achieved by China and Laos in the Belt and Road Initiative, affirmed the construction and development of the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone, and expressed confidence in future cooperation between the two countries.

On Kapok Avenue and in Chinatown of the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone, the Chinese national flag and the Lao flag were displayed side by side, creating a festive atmosphere. During the event, Chinese citizens held a celebratory parade with the flags of both countries, and Chinese businesses also responded by hanging bright national flags and celebratory banners. They expressed their love for China and Laos and their blessings for the friendly relations between the two countries through their actions.
