At the promotion conference, Khamsawwang, Director of the Special Economic Zone's Administrative Authority, stated that the special economic zone will uphold the principles of openness, cooperation, and win-win outcomes, continuously improving tourism infrastructure in 2026, creating a safe and convenient tourism environment, and striving to become an international tourism destination for Laos.
Chiang Saen District Governor Susawatti highly praised the achievements of the Special Economic Zone (SEZ), stating that the well-developed infrastructure and stable security he witnessed firsthand were completely different from the negative rumors circulating online.
