Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) March 4, 2026 – The authoritative American travel magazine *Travel + Leisure* released its list of "Asia's 11 Most Spectacular Cable Car Experiences of 2026," with Vietnam being the only country to have three cable car attractions on the list.
The selection criteria were stringent, comprehensively considering the uniqueness of the natural landscape, the complexity of the construction, and the panoramic views offered by the cable cars.

The three Vietnamese cable cars on the list are all located in core tourist areas: Phu Quoc Island Pineapple Island Cable Car: Nearly 8 kilometers long, it holds the Guinness World Record for "World's Longest Three-Way Cable Car Across the Sea." A 15-minute ride offers panoramic views of coral reefs, coastal fishing villages, and the An Thoi Islands. The magazine highly praised its marine ecological viewing experience. Da Nang Ba Na Hills Cable Car: Rides directly from the plains to the summit of the main mountain at an altitude of nearly 1500 meters, with a total length of over 5 kilometers and unique views of the pristine forests along the way. The Nha Trang Pearl Cable Car offers panoramic views of Nha Trang Bay and provides an efficient connection between the mainland and offshore tourist islands. The list also includes other representative cable car projects in the region, including the Dagu Glacier Cableway in Sichuan, China, one of the world's highest cableways, which takes visitors to an altitude of 4,843 meters for close-up views of the permafrost snowfields.
