Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) - The Apsara Organization recently announced the launch of new tour routes at several key sites within the Angkor Wat complex. This initiative aims to provide global visitors with a more innovative and diverse travel experience while further enhancing the outstanding global value of the Angkor Wat complex.

Apsara Organization spokesperson Longkusot emphasized that the announcement of the new tour routes represents a significant enhancement and refinement of existing routes. The new plan aims to encourage visitors to gain a deeper understanding of each temple's key features and historical significance, thereby improving the overall quality of the visit.

Three tour options are available for Angkor Wat: a short sightseeing tour, a medium-length religious pilgrimage tour, and a long historical exploration tour.

Ta Prohm Temple offers two routes, one entering from the east gate and the other from the west gate. Nirvana Temple offers three routes: an exterior route, an interior route, and a boat tour, ensuring a comprehensive view of the ancient temple. Short and long tour options are available for Banteay Srei, Chau Say Tevoda, Thommanom, and Phnom Krom. The new tour routes are designed to guide visitors through the core features of the ancient temples through the use of guided tours along the way.

Longkusot added that proper route planning will facilitate visits to the temples, allowing visitors to fully understand the meaning of the reliefs and the temple's history.

He cited Phnom Krom Temple as an example, noting that the planned routes not only allow visitors to fully appreciate the temple but also offer beautiful views of the rice paddies, Tonle Sap Lake, and, most importantly, the spectacular sunsets. Visitors will also have the opportunity to observe the daily customs, traditions, and lifestyles of the local residents, such as fishing and traditional Khmer handicrafts.

Longkusot stated, "We are continuously promoting the creation of tour routes for monuments that do not yet have them planned. In the future, we must plan tour routes for all monuments. These routes will include information signage and directional signs to facilitate visitors' visit."

The Apsara Organization will continue to work to optimize the visitor environment at Angkor Wat and hopes that these improvements will provide global visitors with a more profound and valuable experience of Cambodia's cultural heritage.
