Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – According to the Hubei Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, with the approval of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee, the Hubei Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision has filed a case for investigation into the serious disciplinary and legal violations of Wu Jin, a member of the 12th Hubei Provincial Party Committee and former Secretary of the Jingzhou Municipal Party Committee.
The investigation revealed that Wu Jin had lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original aspirations and mission, was disloyal and dishonest to the Party, and resisted organizational review; he disregarded the spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulation, accepted banquets that could influence the impartial performance of his official duties, and engaged in formalism and bureaucracy in his work, causing a negative impact; he violated organizational principles, sought benefits for others in cadre selection and appointment and accepted bribes; he failed to uphold the bottom line of integrity, illegally accepted gifts, and engaged in profit-making activities in violation of regulations; he failed to properly perform his duties in ecological protection and governance, causing a negative impact; he disregarded the law and showed no respect for it, using his position to seek benefits for others in project approval and contracting, and illegally accepted huge amounts of money.
Wu Jin seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, and work discipline, constituting serious job-related violations and suspected bribery crimes. Moreover, he did not restrain himself after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, making his actions serious in nature and having a negative impact, warranting severe punishment. Based on the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Sanctions for Public Officials," after discussion at the Standing Committee meetings of the Hubei Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Hubei Provincial Party Committee, and with the approval of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China after review by the Standing Committee of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, it was decided to expel Wu Jin from the Party; the Hubei Provincial Supervisory Commission will dismiss him from public office; his qualifications as a representative to the Sixth Jingzhou Municipal Party Congress, the Twelfth Hubei Provincial Party Congress, and the Twentieth National Congress of the Communist Party of China will be terminated; his illegal gains will be confiscated; and his suspected crimes will be transferred to the procuratorial organs for investigation and prosecution according to law, with all related assets transferred as well. The decision to expel him from the Party will be ratified at the next plenary session of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee.
