Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Harbin Ice and Snow World issued an announcement on the evening of February 21st, stating that due to a sudden rise in temperature on February 20th and 21st, the park will be officially closed immediately, and will implement measures such as full refunds and "free admission to the next Harbin Ice and Snow World".
The announcement stated that due to the sudden increase in temperature in Harbin over the past two days, breaking historical records, the ice and snow landscapes at Harbin Ice and Snow World have melted significantly. To ensure the visitor experience and personal safety, the 27th Harbin Ice and Snow World will be officially closed immediately. Visitors who have already purchased tickets can apply for a full refund through the original ticketing channel.
The announcement further stated that to express apologies for the inconvenience caused to visitors by the temporary adjustment of the opening and closing times, Harbin Ice and Snow World has decided that visitors who purchased tickets for the 27th Harbin Ice and Snow World from February 20th (the fourth day of the Lunar New Year) to February 28th (the twelfth day of the Lunar New Year) in 2026 can receive a refund and, upon presentation of their ID card, can enter the next Harbin Ice and Snow World for free.
The Dream Ice and Snow Pavilion, the world's largest indoor ice and snow theme park located within the Harbin Ice and Snow World, will open at 12:00 noon on February 22nd (the sixth day of the Lunar New Year). Popular attractions from this year's Harbin Ice and Snow World, including the twelve zodiac animals, an ice piano, a steam train, and an ice harp, will be recreated in the Dream Ice and Snow Pavilion.
The 27th Harbin Ice and Snow World will open on December 17, 2025, with the theme "Ice and Snow Wonderland, Fairy Tale World," covering a total area of 1.2 million square meters. Since its opening, it has attracted numerous domestic and international tourists. On February 19th this year (the third day of the Lunar New Year), the park received over 120,000 visitors in a single day, breaking its own record for single-day visitor numbers since its opening.
