  The Kaohsiung City Health Bureau released the latest data on the 6th, stating that as of 4 PM that day, the number of people seeking medical attention for poisoning had reached 140, with 31 hospitalized. Preliminary test results for 12 patients are positive for Salmonella.

  The Kaohsiung City Health Bureau stated that due to the stall owner's deliberate concealment of spring roll ingredients during inspections and the significant food safety risks, leading to a continued increase in hospitalizations, a total fine of NT$1.44 million has been imposed, and the case has been transferred to the Kaohsiung District Prosecutors Office for investigation.

  According to Taiwanese media reports, between the 4th and 5th, several Taiwanese netizens posted online that they experienced discomfort after eating spring rolls from the Zhengyi Market in Kaohsiung, experiencing symptoms such as fever, chills, vomiting, and diarrhea.
