  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Recently, with the approval of the Gansu Provincial Party Committee, the Gansu Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision initiated an investigation into the serious disciplinary and legal violations of Wang Chunding, former full-time external director of the Gansu Provincial Highway and Tourism Group and the Gansu Provincial Construction Investment Group.

  The investigation revealed that Wang Chunding, as a leading Party member cadre of a state-owned enterprise, lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original aspirations and mission, was disloyal and dishonest to the Party, colluded with others to fabricate evidence, destroyed evidence, and resisted organizational review; disregarded the spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulation, accepted gifts and money that could influence the impartial performance of his official duties, improperly accepted banquets and travel arrangements, and traveled beyond the standard; violated the principle of democratic centralism, improperly decided on major decisions, sought personnel benefits for others and accepted money and property; reimbursed personal expenses with public funds, and improperly distributed salaries; made improper decisions, causing the company to deviate from its main business, neglecting his duties and causing adverse consequences; violated lifestyle discipline; embezzled public funds under various pretexts; abused his power for personal gain, engaged in power-for-money transactions; and abused his power, causing huge losses of state-owned assets.

  Wang Chunding seriously violated the Party's political discipline, the spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulation, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, work discipline, and lifestyle discipline, constituting serious job-related violations and suspected crimes of embezzlement, bribery, and abuse of power by personnel of state-owned companies. Moreover, he did not restrain himself after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, demonstrating the egregious nature and serious circumstances of his actions, warranting severe punishment. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Sanctions for Public Officials," after deliberation by the Standing Committee of the Gansu Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and approval by the Gansu Provincial Party Committee, it was decided to expel Wang Chunding from the Party; the Gansu Provincial Supervisory Commission will dismiss him from public office; his illegal gains will be confiscated; and his suspected crimes will be transferred to the procuratorial organs for investigation and prosecution according to law, with all related assets transferred as well.
