Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – The Chinese Navy's 989 flotilla, currently conducting a comprehensive long-range training mission, arrived at Cam Ranh Port in Vietnam on the 21st for a four-day friendly visit.

At dawn local time, the Chinese Navy's ships Changbaishan, Zheng He, and "Xiang Qianjin 1" arrived at their designated area and joined the Vietnamese Navy's frigate Dinh Tien Hoang, forming a flotilla that sailed towards Cam Ranh Port. Around 10:00 AM, they docked at the Cam Ranh Port pier. Staff from the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, representatives of local overseas Chinese, and Vietnamese naval officers and soldiers braved the rain to welcome them at the pier. Students from the Naval University of Engineering and the Naval Aviation University, who were on board for the training mission, lined up on the deck to greet the welcoming crowd.

This visit marks the first visit to Vietnam for the Changbaishan and "Xiang Qianjin 1," and the third visit for the Zheng He. During the visit, the Changbaishan and Zheng He ships will hold open house events, and the fleet's officers and sailors will visit the Fourth Naval District of Vietnam and the Vietnam Naval Academy for tours, discussions, and friendly ball games. The fleet will also hold a deck reception on the Changbaishan ship on the evening of the 23rd.
