  According to the official Weibo account of the Supreme People's Procuratorate on the 19th, the case of Hong Lihe, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Group and Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Jiangxi Provincial People's Congress, suspected of bribery and abuse of power, has been concluded by the National Supervisory Commission and transferred to the procuratorial organ for review and prosecution. The Supreme People's Procuratorate has made a decision to arrest Hong Lihe on suspicion of bribery and abuse of power, and designated the Fuzhou Municipal People's Procuratorate of Fujian Province to review and prosecute him. Hong Lihe's suspected money laundering case has been concluded by the Nanchang Municipal Public Security Bureau of Jiangxi Province and transferred to the Fuzhou Municipal People's Procuratorate for review and prosecution. The Fuzhou Municipal People's Procuratorate has decided to handle the cases together. Recently, the Fuzhou Municipal People's Procuratorate has filed a public prosecution with the Fuzhou Intermediate People's Court.

  During the review and prosecution stage, the procuratorial organ informed the defendant Hong Lihe of his litigation rights in accordance with the law, interrogated the defendant, and listened to the opinions of his defense counsel. The prosecution alleges that: The defendant, Hong Lihe, abused his positions as Mayor and Party Secretary of Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province; Party Secretary and Director of the Jiangxi Provincial Development and Reform Commission; member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Governor of the Jiangxi Provincial Government; and Deputy Party Secretary and Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Jiangxi Provincial People's Congress, to seek benefits for others and illegally accept bribes of an exceptionally large amount; as a state official, he committed malfeasance and abused his power, causing significant losses to the interests of the state and the people, with particularly serious circumstances; and he concealed and hid the source and nature of the proceeds of his bribery and the profits derived therefrom. He should be held criminally liable for bribery, abuse of power, and money laundering.
