Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On November 4, 2025, the 2025 Guangxi Traditional Chinese Medicine Border Tour themed event was officially launched in Longzhou County, Chongzuo City.

Li Jiawen, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, pointed out that the Border Tour themed event is an important measure to promote the downward flow of high-quality traditional Chinese medicine resources to border areas and serve the people, which is conducive to promoting the integration of traditional Chinese medicine culture into people's production and life. He hoped that by holding the event, the service capacity of traditional Chinese medicine in grassroots medical and health institutions would be improved, injecting lasting momentum into the development of traditional Chinese medicine (Zhuang and Yao medicine) in border areas.

Ruan Liping, a second-level inspector of the Chongzuo Municipal People's Government, stated that Chongzuo City will continue to improve its service system, strengthen the training of professional talents, develop the Chinese medicinal materials industry, and promote the deep integration of traditional Chinese medicine with tourism, health care, and border trade.

The event, themed "Traditional Chinese Medicine Spreads Along the Border, Bringing Medical Knowledge to Every Household," was jointly hosted by the Guangxi Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Chongzuo Municipal People's Government, and organized by the Guangxi Medicinal Botanical Garden and the Longzhou County People's Government, among others. It featured a "1+1+N" activity matrix: a launch ceremony, a traditional Chinese medicine culture market, and multiple interactive experience sections.

The traditional Chinese medicine culture exhibition area showcased the achievements of Guangxi's traditional Chinese medicine development since the 14th Five-Year Plan; the free clinic area brought together a team of renowned medical experts from across the region to provide on-site diagnosis, consultation, and answer questions; and the experience area demonstrated famous techniques of Zhuang and Yao medicine, with acupuncture, cupping, and other services attracting many visitors to try them out.

The medicinal cuisine exhibition area was filled with the aroma of herbs, and Zhuang and Yao medicinal teas were very popular. The cultural and creative market showcased specialty products such as sachets, medicinal hammers, medicinal pillows, medicinal bath packs, Zhuang medicine eye masks, and eleven-ingredient medicinal wine. The interactive area featured activities like "DIY Sachet Making," a "Tracing the Hundred Herbs" challenge, a "Ten Flavors of Guangxi" flip-flop game, and a "Traditional Chinese Medicine Weight Loss Challenge," allowing the public to learn about traditional Chinese medicine and experience its cultural charm in a relaxed atmosphere.

During the event, expert teams from the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Guangxi International Zhuang Medicine Hospital, Guangxi Medicinal Botanical Garden, Guangxi Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Guangxi Orthopedic Hospital will also conduct ward rounds, health education lectures, and other services in various locations, promoting traditional Chinese medicine resources in rural areas, hospitals, schools, and government agencies, and effectively improving the grassroots traditional Chinese medicine service capabilities.

It is reported that the 2025 Guangxi Traditional Chinese Medicine Border Tour will continue until the end of November, covering eight counties (cities and districts) in border cities such as Fangchenggang, Baise, and Chongzuo, to help protect the health of border residents and promote the dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine culture.
