Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On June 18th, a press conference for the 25th China (Qinghai) Green Development Investment and Trade Fair (hereinafter referred to as the Qinghai Fair) was held in Beijing. It was announced that the 25th Qinghai Fair will be held in Xining from July 11th to 15th.
The Qinghai Fair, hosted by the Qinghai Provincial People's Government, has been successfully held for 24 consecutive sessions. It serves as an important window and a prestigious platform for Qinghai Province to expand its high-level opening-up and deepen regional exchange and cooperation, and has become a highly influential trade cooperation and investment promotion platform in western China.
Over the past 24 years, the scale and level of the Qinghai Fair have increased year by year, its radiating effect has expanded annually, and the breadth and depth of cooperation have deepened annually. To date, a total of 6,109 projects have been signed, with 4,569 projects implemented, and a total investment of 787.4 billion yuan.
This year's Qinghai Fair continues to uphold the theme of "Open Cooperation and Green Development," and follows the goal of "higher level, more effective, and more exciting."
At the press conference, Rong Zengyan, Deputy Secretary-General of the Qinghai Provincial People's Government, stated that this year's Qinghai Investment and Trade Fair (QIF) will feature three new characteristics: first, it will focus on internationalization to foster friendships; second, it will emphasize professionalism to attract investment; and third, it will promote trade to highlight market orientation.
This year's QIF has invited Iceland as the guest of honor, and for the first time, it has set up a guest of honor exhibition area and held a guest of honor economic and trade cooperation exchange meeting. Simultaneously, it will actively strengthen communication and coordination with embassies and consulates of countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative, international sister cities, international business associations, and international organizations.
Ying Xiuli, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Qinghai Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, said that the QIF has specially set up a special exhibition for the guest of honor country, which will attract not only visitors and exhibitors from that country but also participants from other countries with which it cooperates, further enhancing the internationalization of the QIF.
In terms of investment promotion, this year's Qinghai Investment and Trade Fair (QIF) focuses on building a cooperation and exchange platform primarily for promotion, negotiation, matchmaking, and signing. It launches a "12+8+6" series of activities, including 12 main events such as the "Cloud-based QingIF," 8 city and prefecture investment promotion sessions, and 6 centralized project signing ceremonies, aiming to attract more high-quality enterprises to invest and develop in Qinghai.
Regarding marketization, this year's QIF adopts a market-oriented model of "government-led, market-operated" for the first time, introducing professional exhibition companies to participate in the event organization and implementing comprehensive market-oriented investment promotion, efficiently utilizing the 50,000 square meters of exhibition space in the three exhibition halls.
Yang Zhong, First-Level Inspector and Deputy Director of the Qinghai Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, believes that the innovation of this year's QIF lies in introducing a market-oriented event organization model to stimulate the event's vitality. Through market-oriented operation and professional curation, the fair's attractiveness is enhanced. Secondly, through outdoor exhibition areas and live-streamed shopping, Qinghai's distinctive products and advantageous industries are showcased and promoted, allowing more people to understand Qinghai's economic development and industrial characteristics, further enhancing the QIF's influence.
