Senior officials from the Ministry of Commerce, experts from the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), and representatives from relevant technical fields participated in the meeting, providing professional support for the report's improvement and subsequent implementation.

  This assessment is a key step for Cambodia in fulfilling its obligations under the Framework Agreement on Facilitating Cross-Border Paperless Trade in the Asia-Pacific. Cambodia officially signed the agreement on August 29, 2017, and this assessment comprehensively presents the systematic preparatory work undertaken by the country in areas such as legal system construction, technological platform development, and institutional mechanism improvement to ensure the agreement's implementation.

  As a core strategic support document for Cambodia's digital trade development, this report will provide clear action guidelines for further promoting cross-border digital trade facilitation and modernizing the national trade system, helping Cambodia play a greater role in regional digital trade cooperation.
