Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – With the departure of flight CA481 from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport on May 1st, the Chongqing-Manila passenger route was officially launched, currently the only direct passenger route from Chongqing to Manila.
The route is operated by a Boeing B737-8 aircraft, with four flights per week. The outbound flight, CA481, operates every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, departing Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 20:50 (all times are local) and arriving in Manila at 00:50 the following day. The return flight, CA482, operates every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, departing Manila at 01:50 and landing at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 05:40.
The one-way flight time is less than 4 hours, significantly reducing travel time compared to the previously common connecting travel option.
It is reported that Xiamen Airlines will also launch a new direct flight route between Chongqing and Manila on May 21, operating three flights per week, building a more convenient and efficient air corridor for passengers between China and the Philippines. (End)
