According to the rankings, Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport rose from 79th in 2025 to 71st, an improvement of 8 places compared to the previous year. This marks the eighth consecutive year that the airport has been included in the world's top 100 airports, and for the first time, it has entered the top ten of the world's best airports with an annual passenger flow of 30-40 million.
The head of Noi Bai International Airport stated that its continued inclusion in the global top 100 fully demonstrates the airport's unremitting efforts and solid results in enhancing the international image of Vietnam's aviation industry.
To improve passenger experience and operational efficiency, Noi Bai Airport has renovated and expanded the check-in areas of both terminals, further optimizing the spatial layout, significantly improving operational efficiency, and ensuring smooth passage during peak hours. Meanwhile, the airport has increased investment in smart equipment throughout the entire process, including check-in, security checks, and baggage drop-off, effectively shortening passenger waiting times and improving travel convenience.
The airport stated that it will use its ranking as 71st globally and placing it among the top ten airports of its size as a new driving force to continuously listen to passenger needs and upgrade service facilities, striving to provide every passenger passing through Hanoi, the capital's gateway, with a comfortable, smooth, and memorable travel experience.
In addition, Da Nang International Airport, under the Vietnam Airports Corporation, also performed impressively, successfully entering the 2026 Global Best Airports Top 100, rising nine places from last year and achieving steady progress. (End)
