Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) On the morning of February 8th, the cargo ship "Shengchenghai," fully loaded with 220 domestically produced buses, departed from Yangzhou Port for Algeria. This marks not only the first batch of domestically produced vehicles exported through Yangzhou Port this year but also sets a new record for the port's single-ship export volume of complete vehicles.

The buses exported this time were specially developed by a Suzhou-based company for the high temperatures, sandy conditions, and complex road conditions in Algeria. The fleet includes various models such as 8-meter and 11-meter new V-series buses and 12-meter fully-integrated buses, embodying the concepts of safe, intelligent, and green travel, and are an important component of Algeria's "10,000 Bus Replacement Plan." The vehicles are equipped with an ESC electronic stability control system, which significantly improves driving stability and effectively prevents the risk of skidding. Furthermore, the vehicles fully comply with multiple international safety standards, including R66 and R118.2, and are equipped with side-opening escape windows and independent emergency lighting systems, representing a significant breakthrough in safety performance.

In response to the large number of vehicles being exported and the tight berthing schedule, the Yangzhou Immigration Inspection Station proactively contacted other joint inspection units and port companies to establish a "one-to-one" communication channel. Simultaneously, leveraging the "single window" system and port dispatching system, border inspection procedures were seamlessly integrated. "We have made every effort to reduce costs and increase efficiency for enterprises, improving customs clearance efficiency by more than 50%," said Liu Jun, captain of the third duty team at the Yangzhou Immigration Inspection Station.

As the pace of domestically produced automobiles being shipped overseas continues to accelerate, the importance of port customs clearance efficiency has become increasingly apparent. The Yangzhou Immigration Inspection Station has moved its services forward, opening a "dedicated channel for automobile exports." Through a "two-point simultaneous inspection method" of "on-site inspection + border inspection procedures," it quickly processes border inspection procedures for ship entry and exit and crew changes, achieving "zero waiting time" for ship arrivals and "zero delay" for departures. This shortens customs clearance time, ensuring a "double improvement" in border inspection capabilities and efficiency, and a "double reduction" in transportation and operating costs for enterprises. "Following the principle of 'shortest process and fastest clearance,' the border inspection department tailored a clearance plan, and in less than two days, we completed the customs inspection and loading of 220 passenger buses," said a relevant person in charge of the dispatching office of Yangzhou Port Group Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Province.
