Vietnamese OCOP products showcased at the Milan Craft Fair, expanding their influence in the European market.

  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – The 29th Milan International Handicraft Fair was held in Milan, Italy, from December 6th to 14th. Nearly 3,400 companies from nearly 100 countries participated, with 10 well-known Vietnamese companies showcasing their distinctive products.

  The Vietnamese exhibition area, organized by the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Environment, was themed "Vietnam's 'One Commune, One Product' (OCOP) Products: Condensing Value and Spreading Culture." The over 100-square-meter exhibition area blended Eastern aesthetics, showcasing handicrafts such as ceramics, silk, and rattan and bamboo weaving, as well as high-quality agricultural products and food items like tea, coffee, and cashews, demonstrating the fusion of Vietnamese cultural heritage and export standards.

  The opening ceremony of the exhibition area on December 6th was attended by guests including the Chargé d'Affaires of the Vietnamese Embassy in Italy and representatives from the Milan Handicraft Federation. Enrico Brambilla, Secretary General of the Milan Crafts Federation, affirmed the high-end aesthetic potential of Vietnamese products and expressed his willingness to support their participation in the 2026 exhibition. The CEO of Gestione Fiere praised Vietnamese products for their "strong uniqueness and rich cultural connotations." The first day of the exhibition saw a lively atmosphere for business negotiations, with the Vietnamese side suggesting the establishment of more channels for government-business cooperation.

  As the world's largest crafts event, the Artigiano Milano fair leverages its digital platform of 1.5 million members to support businesses' year-round promotion. Vietnam has participated continuously since the early 2000s, and this year, taking advantage of the Christmas shopping season, it further cultivates the European market and promotes its traditional crafts and cultural values ​​internationally.
