Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Data released by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing on the 28th shows that from January to October, the total social logistics volume in China reached 293.7 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.1%.

Analysis indicates that from January to October, the overall operation of national logistics showed a steady and progressive development trend, with logistics demand maintaining stable growth and structural adjustment and optimization becoming increasingly prominent. While the growth rate fluctuated in October due to factors such as holidays, the year-to-date growth rate of total social logistics volume remained around 5%. Structurally, industrial goods logistics maintained stable growth, accounting for 88% of the total social logistics volume, remaining the absolute mainstay of logistics demand. Among these, equipment manufacturing and high-end manufacturing sectors continued to drive strong growth. In October, logistics demand related to automobile manufacturing increased by 16.8% year-on-year, demonstrating strong growth momentum.

Logistics for goods sold to businesses and residents continued to grow rapidly. From January to October, the total logistics volume for goods sold to businesses and residents increased by 6.4% year-on-year. Structurally, online consumer logistics remained active, with new business models such as instant retail and live-streaming e-commerce flourishing. In terms of product categories, upgraded consumer logistics in the commerce sector saw relatively rapid growth. Simultaneously, the green transformation of industries yielded results. On one hand, the logistics demand from the new energy industry chain continued its rapid growth, becoming the core driver of green logistics demand. On the other hand, the demand for recycling logistics for renewable resources was released quickly.

Analysis suggests that, overall, China's logistics operations from January to October showed steady progress, with prominent structural optimization characteristics. In the fourth quarter, endogenous growth momentum continued to accumulate, and the foundation for a comprehensive recovery across multiple sectors was continuously strengthened. Strong core growth drivers such as high-end manufacturing, emerging markets, and online consumption continued to drive the upgrading of logistics supply. With precise policy implementation and the gradual release of demand, signs of marginal improvement gradually emerged, and China's logistics as a whole will present a high-quality development pattern characterized by "strong core leadership, continuous structural optimization, and constantly enhanced resilience."
