Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) November 20, 2025 – The 2025 Douyin Live Streaming Annual Carnival officially kicked off. This year's carnival, through multiple competitions, comprehensively discovers and selects outstanding Douyin live streamers of the year. The specially designed "Diverse Track Professional Selection" segment, with its professional standards, has attracted widespread attention from the industry.

It is understood that the China Association of Performing Arts serves as the judging and guidance unit for this "Diverse Track Professional Selection," providing professional judging standards and industry guidance support for the event. This selection segment aims to "select high-quality talent content and empower the growth of streamers." Through professional skills competitions, it aims to discover outstanding streamers in the field of online talent performance. It includes more than 10 sub-tracks, covering diverse talent fields such as popular music, folk songs and bel canto, Chinese dance, diverse dances, Western musical instruments, ethnic musical instruments, opera and folk arts, and language performances.

The event will establish a professional judging panel to comprehensively score streamers from multiple dimensions, including content innovation, cultural connotation transmission, and artistic expression. This selection mechanism not only provides a top-tier platform and growth ladder for talented livestreamers with artistic dreams, but also sets a benchmark for content value in the online performance industry through authoritative standards, helping the industry achieve standardization and high-quality development.

As a professional review and guidance unit for diverse tracks, the China Association of Performing Arts (CAFA) is a national first-level social organization under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It is a nationwide, industry-specific social organization voluntarily formed by performing arts units and practitioners. It has 14 branches and professional committees, including the Online Performance (Livestream) Branch and the Online Performance (Livestream and Short Video) Brokerage Agency Committee. CAFA is committed to promoting the standardization, professionalization, and vocationalization of the performing arts industry, and contributing to the prosperity and development of the performing arts market. In 2019, CAFA, together with livestreaming platforms and performing arts organizations, launched the "Artistic Broadcasting Plan," aiming to foster new online and offline artistic performance formats.

The emergence of high-quality livestreamers and the improvement of the industry ecosystem are inseparable from the long-term cultivation and incentives provided by platforms. Taking Douyin Live as an example, in 2023, Douyin Live launched the "High-Quality Content Anchor Incentive Program," focusing on supporting the creation of high-quality content and assisting high-quality content anchors in their online development. This was later upgraded to the "High-Quality Anchor Program," further subdividing content categories, establishing standards for high-quality content, and increasing support. In 2024, it launched the "High-Quality Content Support Program," announcing an investment of hundreds of millions of traffic and cash resources, uniting tens of thousands of professionals, driving thousands of content groups, and creating hundreds of high-quality events, focusing on supporting ten high-quality content categories and providing comprehensive support for the growth of high-quality anchors.

"The live streaming content ecosystem has entered a new stage where high-quality content is king. This is the result of the joint efforts of regulatory departments, platforms, and practitioners across the industry in recent years," said a relevant person in charge of the China Association of Performing Arts. "In the future, with the continuous improvement of industry standards, online performance-related professions will further develop in a standardized manner, injecting new vitality into cultural dissemination and industrial upgrading."
