
Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – On the afternoon of October 28th, local time, during the official visit of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam, his wife, and a high-level Vietnamese delegation to the UK, Vietnamese Finance Minister Nguyen Van Thang met with Karl Yeh, Executive Director of Public Institutions and Government Clients, Asia Pacific, JPMorgan Chase Bank.
During the meeting, Nguyen Van Thang highly praised JPMorgan Chase Bank's reputation and standing in the international financial market and expressed his appreciation for the bank's positive contributions over the years in advising the Vietnamese government on fundraising in the international capital market. Since entering the Vietnamese market, JPMorgan Chase has consistently upheld its commitment to the development of Vietnam's capital market, playing a vital bridging role in attracting foreign investment while providing diversified financial services to Vietnamese enterprises. Nguyen Van Thang expressed his hope that JPMorgan Chase would continue to support the Vietnamese government and enterprises in the financial and investment sectors.
On this occasion, the Vietnamese Ministry of Finance and JPMorgan Chase Bank signed a Memorandum of Understanding, marking a new stage in their cooperative relationship.
According to the memorandum, both sides will jointly seek cooperation opportunities to help the Vietnamese government better access and raise funds in international capital markets. They will also hold seminars and investor exchange activities to strengthen dialogue and enhance Vietnam's image in the global financial market.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with JPMorgan Chase reflects Vietnam's commitment to expanding international cooperation and improving its capacity for sustainable public debt financing and management, while also contributing to further strengthening Vietnam's position in the global financial market.
