  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) February 10th, the 23rd day of the twelfth lunar month, coinciding with the Little New Year in northern China, saw the "Ten Thousand Horses Galloping, Five Super League Celebrating the New Year" 2026 Hebei Five Super League All-Star New Year's Match, jointly organized by the Hebei Five Super League Organizing Committee and the Chengde Municipal People's Government, kick off at the Chengde Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, with over 4,000 fans in attendance.

  The tournament is divided geographically, forming two elite teams: "Northern Hebei" and "Southern Hebei." The "Northern Hebei" team comprises strong players from seven cities: Chengde, Zhangjiakou, Qinhuangdao, Tangshan, Langfang, Baoding, and Xiong'an New Area. The "Southern Hebei" team consists of elite players from seven cities: Shijiazhuang, Cangzhou, Handan, Hengshui, Xingtai, Dingzhou, and Xinji.

  The match uses a five-a-side football format, with two 25-minute regular matches, offering a fast-paced and highly competitive experience that promises to be a thrilling spectacle. The two teams engaged in a fierce competition, with every brilliant save and volley drawing cheers from the audience. Ultimately, "Yanbei Team" defeated "Zhaonan Team."

  The fan penalty shootout became a highlight of the event, vividly demonstrating the Hebei Five-a-Side Football Super League's "participation for all, sharing for all" philosophy. Fan representatives from 14 competition zones competed in 1v1 penalty shootouts, with goals directly contributing to their respective teams' overall scores, transforming fans from spectators into active participants.

  Olympic champions Gong Lijiao and Chang Yuan watched the match live, cheering on this grassroots football extravaganza.

  As the first provincial-level mass participation five-a-side football home-and-away league in China, the Hebei Provincial Five-a-Side Football Super League has successfully held 26 rounds and 182 matches since its launch on August 10, 2025.

  It is reported that the second stage of the 2025 Hebei Five-a-Side Football Super League playoffs will begin on February 28, 2026, with the competition unfolding in a home-and-away knockout format, totaling 13 rounds. Meanwhile, the 2026 "Hebei Five-a-Side Super" competition will also kick off in May. (End)
