The meeting thoroughly studied and implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping's important thoughts on doing a good job in the Party's united front work in the new era, implemented the spirit of the national and provincial United Front Work Department heads' meetings, systematically summarized the work of 2025, and arranged and deployed the tasks for 2026. Chen Xiaoyong, Secretary of the Baoji Municipal Party Committee, issued instructions on the city's united front work. Xu Haifeng, member of the Standing Committee of the Baoji Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
The meeting emphasized that 2026 is the first year of the "15th Five-Year Plan," a crucial year for deepening the "Three Years" activities and comprehensively improving the quality and efficiency of "Three Services," and an important year for the united front to unite its members and serve the overall situation. The city's united front system must thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important thoughts on doing a good job in the Party's united front work in the new era, accurately grasp the new situation and new tasks facing united front work, and effectively enhance the sense of responsibility and mission in doing a good job in united front work in the new era. We must earnestly implement the deployment requirements of the national and provincial united front work conferences, deepen and solidify ideological and political guidance, continuously enhance the effectiveness of multi-party cooperation, solidly advance the building of a community with a shared future for the Chinese nation, strengthen the rule of law in religious affairs governance, guide non-Party intellectuals and new social strata to better play their roles, continuously promote the "two healthy developments" (healthy development of the Party and healthy development of the private sector), actively carry out united front work related to Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and overseas Chinese, and draw the largest possible "circle of unity and struggle." We must strengthen the Party's overall leadership over united front work, uphold and improve the overall united front work pattern, deepen the implementation of the united front work responsibility system, build a strong team of united front cadres and non-Party representatives, thoroughly carry out united front publicity work, focus on preventing and resolving risks, and strive to create a new situation for united front work in Baoji in the new era.
At the meeting, representatives from Qishan County, Qianyang County, Fengxiang District, Baoji Industrial Development Group Co., Ltd., and Baoji University of Arts and Sciences delivered speeches. More than 120 people attended the meeting, including members of the leadership teams of the Municipal United Front Work Department, the Municipal Bureau of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, and the Municipal Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese; members of the leadership teams of the United Front Work Departments of the Party Committees (Party Working Committees) of each county (district); responsible comrades of relevant departments of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government and people's organizations; responsible comrades of some state-owned enterprises and colleges in charge of United Front work; responsible comrades of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision stationed in the Municipal CPPCC; and heads of various departments of the Municipal United Front Work Department.
