Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – The 2026 Wat Phou Stone Temple Festival in Champasak will be held from January 31st to February 2nd (corresponding to the 13th to 15th of the third month in the Lao calendar). During the event, 590 drones will perform aerial shows, accompanied by dazzling fireworks, and over 350 actors will present a period drama, offering audiences a visual and auditory feast.
In addition to the core performances, the event will feature numerous photo spots, a unique fire tunnel, a "Champagne Food Hall," and a retro market. In the retro market, locals and tourists can closely observe ODOP (Old Thai Food) products from nine towns and one city, experiencing the local culture.
Visitors can also immerse themselves in the unique beauty of Wat Phou's stone palace, sample local delicacies such as roasted chicken and sticky rice, participate in various fun activities, and fully experience the rich atmosphere of the festival.
