Fireworks show kicks off in Ho Chi Minh City; diverse cultural activities enrich holiday life.

  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) On April 30, 2026, at 9:00 PM, a spectacular fireworks display was simultaneously launched at eight locations in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The dazzling lights illuminated the city's night sky, solemnly commemorating the 51st anniversary of the liberation of South Vietnam and the reunification of the motherland (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2026). Tens of thousands of citizens and tourists gathered at the various launch sites to enjoy this historically significant and festive audio-visual feast.

  During this year's Reunification Day celebrations, Ho Chi Minh City carefully set up three high-altitude fireworks launch sites and five low-altitude fireworks launch sites, covering all administrative districts of the city, striving to ensure convenient viewing for people in different areas. The entire fireworks display lasted 15 minutes, with a 5-minute special display in the Can Giay Lake tourist city area. The dazzling lights and shadows reflected in the city's night view, allowing the audience to immerse themselves in the festive joy and leave satisfied.

  In addition to the main fireworks display, Ho Chi Minh City is offering a variety of free cultural and artistic activities during the holiday period from April 30 to May 1, providing residents and tourists with a rich holiday experience: Phu Tho Circus and the Multifunctional Performance Theater will open to the public for the first time, presenting two premiere performances on April 30 and May 1, offering a spectacular blend of circus and puppetry; the Tran Huu Trang Reform Theatre will revive the classic play "Luxury Hotel," rekindling its classic charm; Ly Thai To Park No. 1 will feature a dynamic musical fountain show; and various themed performances will also be presented simultaneously at Tien Thuan Cultural Park, New City Center Park (Bin Duong Ward), Ba Di Park Square (Ba Di Ward), and Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden (Grass and Bird Garden), covering diverse forms such as song and dance, and folk customs displays to meet the viewing needs of different groups.

  The entire celebration, featuring fireworks and cultural elements, paid tribute to the historical moment of the liberation of South Vietnam and the reunification of the motherland, while also providing citizens and tourists with a relaxed and enjoyable holiday experience.
