  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – According to the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission stationed at China National Chemical Corporation (Sinochem) Holding Co., Ltd., and the Beijing Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision: Recently, the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission stationed at Sinochem Holding Co., Ltd., and the Haidian District Supervisory Commission of Beijing Municipality, have filed a case for investigation into the serious violations of discipline and law by Li Dongping, former Deputy General Manager of China Chemical Equipment Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Sinochem Holding Co., Ltd.

  The investigation revealed that Li Dongping, as a leading cadre of a state-owned enterprise and a member of the Communist Party, lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original aspirations and mission; disregarded the spirit of the Eight-Point Regulation of the Central Committee, illegally accepted gifts and money that could influence the impartial performance of his official duties, and illegally accepted banquets from others; violated organizational principles, illegally arranged for relatives to hold important positions; failed to uphold the bottom line of integrity, and illegally engaged in profit-making activities; failed to properly perform his duties, and illegally interfered in bidding and procurement work; violated lifestyle discipline; and distorted public power into a tool for seeking personal gain, using his position to seek benefits for others and illegally accepting huge sums of money from others.

  Li Dongping seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, work discipline, and lifestyle discipline, constituting serious job-related violations and suspected bribery crimes. Moreover, he showed no restraint after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and continued his misconduct after the 19th National Congress, demonstrating the serious nature and egregious impact of his actions, warranting severe punishment. Based on the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Sanctions for Public Officials," the Party Committee of China National Chemical Corporation (Sinochem Holdings Co., Ltd.) has decided to expel Li Dongping from the Party; adjust his retirement benefits according to regulations; confiscate his illegal gains; and have his suspected job-related crimes transferred to the procuratorate for investigation and prosecution by the Haidian District Supervisory Commission of Beijing.
