Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – Reporters learned from the Maritime Safety Administration of the Ministry of Transport that today, the maritime and agricultural departments of Tianjin, Hebei, and Shandong provinces jointly launched the first joint patrol and enforcement operation of the 2026 spring season, focusing on joint governance of commercial and fishing vessels. This joint patrol is a cross-regional, cross-departmental, integrated sea and air patrol operation in the Bohai West Sea area. By strengthening joint enforcement coordination, it aims to combat maritime traffic violations, prevent and resolve conflicts between fishermen and merchants, and maintain stable navigation order in key waters during the Qingming Festival.
This operation focuses on four core tasks: ensuring the safety of key energy transport vessels, inspecting navigational aids, joint governance of commercial and fishing vessels, and investigating and punishing illegal and irregular activities. It constructs a three-in-one integrated enforcement network of "maritime patrol vessels + drones + VTS intelligent supervision."
During the operation, the maritime and agricultural departments of Tianjin, Hebei, and Shandong provinces simultaneously advanced along two routes: the southern route covered the waters bordering Huanghua Port and Binzhou, while the northern route focused on the waters bordering Caofeidian and Tianjin, as well as wind farms and oil platforms, conducting precise rectification of collision hazards between commercial and fishing vessels, obstruction of navigation, and illegal operations.
