China's Long March series carrier rockets set a new record of "three launches in one day".

  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – According to the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), at 23:08 Beijing time on December 9th, China successfully launched the Communication Technology Experiment Satellite-22 into its predetermined orbit using a Long March-3B carrier rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, marking a complete success for the mission.

  This was the third successful launch of the Long March series carrier rockets on December 9th, setting a new record of three launches in one day.

  The Communication Technology Experiment Satellite-22 was developed by the Eighth Academy of CASC and is primarily used for satellite communication, broadcasting, data transmission, and related technology testing and verification.

  The Long March-3B carrier rocket, developed by the First Academy of CASC, is a member of the "Gold Medal Rocket" Long March-3A series. This mission was the 14th launch of the Long March-3A series carrier rockets in 2025, tying the record for the most launches in a single year set by this series in 2018. This mission marked the 615th flight of the Long March series carrier rockets. (End)
