  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Data released by China's Ministry of Transport on the 9th showed that in November, China's urban rail transit system completed 2.83 billion passenger trips, a year-on-year increase of 4.4%.

  According to the Ministry of Transport's preliminary report on urban rail transit operation data for November, in November, 54 cities in 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps opened and operated 334 urban rail transit lines, with an operating mileage of 11,389.7 kilometers. A total of 3.62 million train trips were operated, completing 2.83 billion passenger trips, with 1.68 billion passenger visits. In November, passenger volume increased by 0.1 billion trips month-on-month, a growth of 0.4%, and increased by 1.2 billion trips year-on-year, a growth of 4.4%. The average passenger intensity per kilometer per day for the total operating mileage nationwide in November was 0.832 million trips, a month-on-month increase of 3.5% and a year-on-year decrease of 3.3%.

  Statistics show that in November, 43 cities opened 275 metro and light rail lines, with an operating mileage of 9,898.5 kilometers, carrying 2.73 billion passengers and 1.61 billion passengers entering stations. 16 cities opened 25 monorail, maglev, and urban rapid transit lines, with an operating mileage of 970.7 kilometers, carrying 82.83 million passengers and 55.97 million passengers entering stations. 18 cities opened 34 tram and automated guided vehicle lines, with an operating mileage of 520.5 kilometers, carrying 11.37 million passengers and 16.42 million passengers entering stations.

  In November, 59.2 kilometers of new operating mileage were added, including one new line, Dongguan Metro Line 1; and one new operating section, the western extension of Shanghai Metro Line 2. (End)
