Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – The China Association for Quality released the 2025 China New Energy Vehicle Industry User Satisfaction Index (NEV-CACSI) evaluation results in Beijing on the 3rd. Data shows that the index reached 80 points (out of 100) in 2025, an increase of 1 point year-on-year.
The evaluation results show that the significant improvement in perceived quality and perceived value is the key factor driving the increase in user satisfaction in the industry, with both indicators showing an increase exceeding the overall satisfaction growth rate. As competition in the new energy vehicle industry continues to intensify, automakers are increasingly focusing on user needs.
In terms of user satisfaction, domestic brands in the new energy vehicle industry scored 80 points, on par with joint venture brands, while in the gasoline vehicle industry, they scored 1 point lower than joint venture brands. Regarding actual experience, domestic brands in the new energy vehicle industry had significantly fewer malfunctions (problems) per 100 new vehicles than joint venture brands, especially in the intelligent cockpit.
In the core product dimensions, quality reliability and performance design satisfaction improved simultaneously. However, the industry still faces the challenges of a year-on-year increase in the number of malfunctions per 100 new vehicles and a significant increase in the concentration of malfunctions. From the perspective of user car-buying needs, the focus on "low maintenance costs" and "attractive design" has continued to decline, while "good vehicle performance," "high reliability," and "high comfort" are the core considerations. Among these, the mention rate of "high reliability" has increased for four consecutive years, and the mention rate of "high comfort" has increased for two consecutive years.
The China Association for Quality stated that the year-on-year increase in user satisfaction in the new energy vehicle industry in 2025 is a result of the industry's long-term adherence to the "user-centric" business philosophy, laying a solid foundation for the industry's future high-quality development.
It is understood that the China Association for Quality has conducted user satisfaction surveys in the Chinese new energy vehicle industry for 11 consecutive years. This year's survey focused on 162 brands and models with high sales in 2025, involving 40 automobile manufacturers and 55 automobile brands nationwide. The survey scope covered 128 key cities in five major market regions: eastern, southern, western, northern, and central China, collecting a total of 25,303 valid survey samples. (End)
