According to the latest data from the Phnom Penh Autonomous Port (PPAP), Cambodia, in the first seven months of 2025, the port's container throughput reached 323,600 TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 24.53%. The report also indicated that cargo and fuel transport volume reached 3.16 million tons, an increase of 16.17%.

In July of this year, the port handled 65,475 containers, a year-on-year increase of 18.47%. Pan Lin, spokesperson for the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, stated that this growth directly reflects the Royal Government's emphasis on strengthening logistics infrastructure and simplifying customs procedures.

Pan Lin pointed out that these positive results signify the healthy development of commerce and trade, continuously injecting momentum into the Cambodian economy by promoting manufacturing activity and creating employment opportunities.

As one of Cambodia's two core ports (the other being the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port), the Phnom Penh Autonomous Port serves as a hub for the country's import and export cargo transportation. This state-owned enterprise not only operates port operations but also manages a logistics network that includes the LM17 main container terminal and satellite stations in various provinces, enabling efficient flow of goods across the entire chain from raw materials to finished products.
